I have to admit , starting solids has been really challenging. There so much to choose , so many options. My brain is on complete overload. Not only that but our blender broke. So now how was I going to make baby food ? We decided not to get a new blender. Since we rarely used the last one. I had to do some research and figure out a way to make baby food.
I don’t know what I was thinking. In the back of my head I thought this will be some well deserve time off from work. In my brain (first time mother syndrome is to blame for this) I though that baby will go down for naps and pretty much nap 24/7. Boy did reality shock me out of that real fast, real quick. So let me tell you future mothers, especially you first time mothers, that maternity leave is work not paid for one year vacation but hard work, emotionally mentally and physically.
After nine months of constantly going to the bathroom, food cravings extreme fatigue and morning sickness. The day has finally arrived to pack your bag, because let’s face it he/she can come Anytime now. It’s time to prepare for the big days event. If you’re being induced and you know the date you can prepare yourself two weeks in advance just in case you don’t run into any surprises. I suggest that every expectant mother start packing their bag the day of the final month. That way of anything should happen you can just grab the bag and go. So what will you need?
Thank god for for phones and apps. I swear my life would be a hot mess without them. Prior to being pregnant I cant’t say I had a lot of apps on my phone. I had maybe the basic things that people would have on their phones. Music apps, apps to keep in touch with with family and friends and of course my social media app, but apart from that my phone was pretty bare. It isn’t until you become pregnant you find a slew of apps out their for mom’s. Whether you are an expecting mother and actual mother or one that trying to become a mother you can definitely find an app for what ever situation you’re in. So here are my favourite apps from pre-pregnancy to post both paid and free.
